We're looking forward to Abi & Paul's wedding in July. It was a few years ago now when we photographed Abi's sister Jenny's wedding. We feel very honoured to be documenting another significant day in their family's life. With Abi & Paul, we took a little trip around Hebden Bridge, talking about their gorgeous day to come and the imminent stag and hen do's! Not long now until the wedding, and what a lovely couple they are.

Abi & Paul - A Shoot Around Hebden Bridge
We are in the middle of wedding season and enjoying every minute of it! Just being a part of a couple's day, documenting and telling the stories through our images, we love it. We often get asked if we get nervous before a wedding. It's an excited feeling, the anticipation, all the plans coming together. We get excited about seeing the couple for the first time on their wedding day, and for when they see each other for the first time. It's such an emotional moment. We often have a cry too, and tissues are now a necessary part of our camera bags!

Amy & Mikey
It was right at the end of the shoot when I was taking photos of Mikey's wristband, and noticed the beautiful engraving in the silver pendant. It has the coordinates of where he met Amy, on the slopes snowboarding, and the coordinates of where they're getting married next month, the gorgeous Gibson Mill. They are the sweetest couple. We went for a little wander around Heptonstall & Hell Hole Rocks, it was such a still, calm evening after a day of rain in the valley. After choosing Gibson Mill as their wedding venue, they fell in love with Hebden, and are moving here this weekend. Looking forward to seeing them on the cobbles, and to the wedding next month!
