Diya & Amba - Portrait Shoot

We took a trip down to Surrey a few weeks ago for a portrait shoot with the gorgeous Diya & Amba.  Sisters, cohorts, kindred spirits.  We were joined by their Grandad, and took a trip to Carshalton Lavender and then strolled in the park.  We had a thunderstorm, outfit changes, Frozen renditions, and a lot of dancing!  In our portraits, we love capturing little characters and going with them wherever the shoot takes us.

If you're thinking about booking a shoot with us, but want to find out a bit more, how's about booking one of our taster sessions first.  We are holding our Wild Things In The Woods mini shoots on October 29th down in Hardcastle Crags, Hebden Bridge.  If you'd be interested in booking in your little explorer, just call on 07912 325 833 or email us at info@sarahmasonphotography.co.uk.  You can find out a bit more information at this link.

Have a great week everyone!

Bubble London

These last few weeks have been busy ones full of loveliness.  This time last week we had just got back from Bubble London, a trade fair for children's wear designers.  We love our children's portrait work and were delighted to be able to attend Bubble to see and photograph some of the wonderful children's brands that are out there.  The event was in the Islington Business Design Centre.  We arrived on Monday morning on a very sunny glorious London day.

The venue was very light and spacious, a lovely space to spend the day in. And what a beautiful array of products and stands.

Bubble London present Rising Star awards to the best new brands at the show.  Those shortlisted included ABC123me, a new boyswear brand of California cool clothing, Tails and Tales - fairytale inspired clothes for boys and girls, and handmade sandals by Pixie Toes, amongst others.  Plumeti Rain were the overall winners of the Rising Star Awards which was very well deserved - such beautiful girls dresses made with gorgeous soft and natural fabrics.  To be honest, the brands were all amazing.

Pixie Toes - gorgeous handmade sandals for little ones and adults too :)
I absolutely fell in love with these cotton dresses by Poppy - each dress tells a story of a little girl called Poppy and her dog Fred and comes with a story book - adorable! They also make dresses for big girls too which I was delighted to hear :)

There was a Homegrown section for those brands that are designed and manufactured in the UK.  There were some gorgeous brands here including Maggie G, Raspberry Plum and Pixie Dixie to name but a few.
